Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the Arab Contractors (AC) Company, explained that the unprecedented heavy floods that occurred last March have had a great impact on some parts of the 26th July axis in Giza Governorate.

In press statements, he added that the company was entrusted to rehabilitate the road damages with a length of 210 linear meters in both directions.

"A study had been developed by the project consultant to find the best ways to repair the road in a scientific way that ensures it will not be affected by any floods in the future," he mentioned.

Moreover, AC Chairman said that the implementation of this task was a difficult and accurate process in light of the inability to close the road, adding that the project had faced several challenges.

He also confirmed that the company will finish the road rehabilitation project within two weeks, noting that it will be opened completely, in coordination with the Traffic Department and the Directorate of Roads in Giza Governorate.
