Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the Turkish Foreign Minister's visit to Egypt is important and paves the way for restoring normal relations between the two countries.
Abu Zeid pointed out, in a statement during “On My Responsibility” program presented by TV host Ahmed Moussa on “Sada El-Balad” satellite channel, to the important meeting that took place between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President Erdogan in Doha on the sidelines of the World Cup.
He also pointed out to the visit of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to Turkey to offer condolences and provide special assistance in the aftermath of the earthquake.
