The official spokesman for Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said on Monday, that all Israeli settlements built on the land of Palestine, including the “Homesh” one, are illegal, stressing that the continuation of the attacks will not achieve security or peace for anyone.
In press remarks, Abu Rudeineh added that the decision to return the settlers to the "Homesh" settlement, which was evacuated in 2005, is condemned and rejected.
He also added that all the resolutions of international legitimacy, clearly confirmed that all settlements in the Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, violate international law, and must be removed.
Moreover, Abu Rudeineh stressed that what Israel is doing is a defiance of the will of the international community, particularly the US administration’s recent statements regarding the unacceptable return of settlers to Homesh.
