Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, welcomed the UN Security Council’s decision to cease fire in the Gaza Strip.
Aboul Gheit wrote, on his account on the “X” website, “I welcome the Security Council’s recent adoption of a ceasefire resolution in Gaza. The adoption of this resolution was long overdue. What is now required is that it be implemented on the ground.”
