Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the blatant attacks targeting the territories of the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the territorial waters of the State of Qatar, describing them as a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law.

The Secretary-General also expressed his full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in confronting the subversive schemes aimed at undermining its security and stability, following the announcement by the Bahraini authorities of the arrest of 41 individuals linked to foreign entities who had allegedly sought to destabilise the Kingdom's security and stability.

Mr. Aboul Gheit further voiced his categorical rejection of this unjustified escalation, warning that it could undermine diplomatic mediation efforts aimed at bringing the war to a peaceful end.

Gamal Roshdy, the official spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, conveyed Mr. Aboul Gheit's warning that the continuation of such aggressive actions could drive the region into further chaos. He also reaffirmed the Secretary-General's full solidarity with the affected Gulf states regarding any measures they may decide to undertake in order to safeguard their security and preserve their sovereignty over their territories and territorial waters.
