Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit issued a stern condemnation Saturday following a series of Iranian attacks targeting civilian infrastructure across multiple Arab nations.
In an official statement, Aboul Gheit denounced the strikes on Kuwait International Airport and residential areas in Riyadh and eastern Saudi Arabia, as well as a civilian facility in Dubai. A spokesperson emphasized that Aboul Gheit also condemned recent Iranian strikes in Erbil, Iraq, alongside Israeli and American escalations in Babylon.
Aboul Gheit characterized the incidents as "blatant aggressions" against Arab sovereignty. Expressing full solidarity with the targeted nations, he reaffirmed his confidence in the ability of Arab states to defend their national security and protect their citizens against external threats.
