King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who is currently visiting Manama.
In a post on his official account on the "X" platform, Aboul Gheit stated: "During my visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, I was honored to meet King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. I congratulated him on Bahrain's National Day, and our conversation addressed the regional situation and ways to de-escalate prevailing tensions."
Aboul Gheit expressed his hope that the upcoming New Year would bring better conditions for the Arab world.
He also shared his pleasure in listening to the Bahraini King’s assessments of the general situation, noting that they reflect profound wisdom and insight in addressing the challenges facing the Arab region.
