Aboul Enein to Head Investors's Meeting on Supporting Sector

The  General Division for Investors, under the chairmanship of MP Mohamed Aboul Enein, will hold an expanded meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, to discuss ways to push the investment climate forward and encourage industry, production and export.

The meeting is set to be attended by a large number of investors, members of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly.

The meeting will discuss the great boom in the investment climate in recent years, whether in terms of legislation, policies and procedures, and how to seize this to maximize the investment, export and production figures, especially in sectors with high added value.

The attendees will also tackle the reforms required current and future mechanisms to localize industry, support agriculture and encourage the private sector support, small projects, facilitating trade and reducing investment, production and export costs, in a way that contributes to a rapid recovery from the repercussions of the Coronavirus crisis.

They will also discuss how to take advantage of the opportunities embedded within the pandemic crisis to persify global value chains, Egypt's acquisition of part of these chains, localizing basic industries, achieving self-sufficiency in production inputs and facing the challenges that imposed by the fourth industrial revolution.
