Egyptian prominent businessman Mohamed Aboul Enein, Founder of Cleopatra Group, has been given an honorary president of the Arab Tribes Council in Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula.
This came in a meeting held on Thursday to honor Aboul Enein and support his candidacy in the complementary parliamentary elections for the Giza district.
During the event, the Arab tribal sheikhs awarded Aboul Enein a shield of honor due to his vital role in defending Egypt after the 30th of June Revolution, his humanitarian gestures, and his rich history as one of the biggest national industrialists in the world.
Sheikh El-Akkaby said that Aboul Enein supported the district and its people through critical times, and he was one the nation’s biggest defenders after the June 30th revolution despite the fact that he was not a Member of Parliament.
They talked about their trust in president El-Sisi, who is doing his best for the sake of Egypt, praising the role of the Egyptian army in maintaining the country’s safety against any terrorist aggression.
They also greeted the police personnel on their 68th National Day, which falls on January 25th for their remarkable contributions in protecting Egypt
They also pointed out to the national mega projects being implemented under El-Sisi’s era, such as the New Administrative Capital and the New Al-Alamin city, as well as the most modern network of roads nationwide.
On his part, Sheikh Hamouda El-Khodary welcomed the prominent businessman’s presidency of the council, stating that Aboul Enein’s membership in the parliament will help represent the council’s cases during the assemblies.
At the end of the meeting, they invited Aboul Enein to attend a ceremony on the occasion of the Giza National Day, on March 31, that marks the anniversary of the battle which took place in 1919 between Nazlet El-Shobak's farmers and the British occupation troops.
