The Aboul Enein Foundation for Social and Cultural Development is continuing preparations to participate in the 13th humanitarian convoy bound for the Gaza Strip, set to depart on Saturday morning under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work.
In a statement, the foundation said its participation is part of Egypt’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people amid deteriorating conditions in Gaza. Acting on directives from MP Mohamed Aboul Enein, chairman of the board, and under the supervision of Vice Chairwoman Somaya Aboul Enein, the foundation is contributing thousands of food packages to meet families’ basic needs, along with blankets, quilts, and other relief supplies.
The foundation said preparations are underway around the clock at its warehouses, with volunteers working day and night to pack food cartons and prepare shipments. The effort reflects a strong sense of solidarity and underscores the role of civil society during humanitarian crises.
The foundation’s involvement in the 13th convoy follows its participation in all previous aid convoys sent to Gaza since the onset of the crisis. It reaffirmed its commitment to a self-funded humanitarian model that does not rely on donations, emphasizing that supporting people in need is a continuous responsibility.
The foundation added that the latest contribution builds on more than 43 years of sustained social and humanitarian work, stressing that standing by the people of Gaza is both a moral and national duty. It also noted that coordinated action under the National Alliance framework highlights the strength and cohesion of Egyptian society in addressing humanitarian challenges.
