Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El Enein visited Bibliotheca Alexandrina, as part of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) delegation's tour to inspect the 2024 presidential election committees.
Abou El Enein confirmed that the visit to Bibliotheca Alexandrina came at the request of the parliamentary delegation, commenting: "The delegation was amazed by the Library; as it is a great architectural and artistic edifice."
Furthermore, Parliament Deputy Speaker stressed that Bibliotheca Alexandrina is the largest cultural and scientific landmark in the governorate.
"We visited the library's largest hall, which includes books by prominent writers and journalists, foremost of which Mohamed Hassanein Heikal," Abou El-Enein continued.
It is worth mentioning that, Mohamed Abou El-Enein arrived in Alexandria, heading PAM delegation, in order to follow up on the electoral process.
The Parliament deputy speaker was keen to head the delegation, stressing that this will draw a wide attention at the international level.
