Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein sat down with iconic TV Host Ahmed Moussa for a special and in-depth interview on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the June 30th Revolution. The interview was aired on Sada El Balad channel, on Friday.

Abou El-Enein revealed various details about his meeting with Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secertay-General back then.

The Parliament Deputy Speaker highlighted that his meeting with the UN Secretary-General last for an hour and a half, and he explained the truth of the 30th June Revolution and its representation of the will of the Egyptian people.

He asserted that Ban Ki-moon understood the situation in Egypt after watching various videos of the violations and violent acts of the Muslim Brotherhood group's members, adding that the UN official was convinced, and told the international world that the events in Egypt are a real revolution.

Abou El-Enein continued that the Muslim Brotherhood told lies about the revolution, including the stand of Mohamed Morsy whose situation confirmed the group's political failure, along with their violent, chaotic, and terroristic acts.

He expressed that the continuity of the Muslim Brotherhood's reign would lead Egypt to political unrest and war like what happened in Syrian, Yemen, and Libya, showing his sorrow for the tragic events in those brotherly countries.

Therefore, Arab youth needs awareness to upgrade their ambitions and learn how to make use of their resources more than before to reach real development, Abou El-Enein asserted.

He underscored that restoring safety and security in Egypt is a remarkable achievement and one of the successes of the 30th June Revolution as the Armed Forces bravely stopped the terrorists of Afghanistan in Sinai, and established a real war against terrorism.
