Parliament Deputy Speaker, Mohamed Abou El-Enein expressed his deep sorrow and grief over death of Captain Ehab Galal, former coach of Ismaili Club and Egyptian national team, who passed away yesterday, after a successful career as both a player and a coach.
In a condolence message posted on his official page on 'Facebook', Abou El-Enein honored Captain Galal as one of the icons of Egyptian football, whose career was marked by professionalism and sportsmanship.
The Lawmaker added that Galal leaves behind a great legacy of achievements in the sports field and a history of humanity, good manners, and a stellar reputation.
"Captain Ihab Galal will forever be a shining symbol for every club he coached and a lasting name in the hearts of all sportspeople in Egypt," he said.
Moreover, Abou El-Enein extended his heartfelt condolences to the sports community, Ismaili Club board, and the family of the deceased.
He prayed that God may bless him with His mercy, grant him eternal peace, and give his family patience and strength. "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him, we will return."
