On Thursday, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein mourned Ambassador Ehab Sorour - former Assistant Foreign Minister and Vice-President of the Egyptian-European Business Council - who passed away today after an honorable career in the diplomatic field.

"May God have mercy on our brother and friend, Ambassador / Ehab Sorour - we have lost a role model of sincerity in diplomatic work... The deceased, throughout his career, was the best ambassador for Egypt in Russia and a number of foreign countries. He also left a great legacy during his reign as the Vice-President of the Egyptian-European Business Council for more than 20 years.  Abou El-Enien posted on his “Facebook” official page.

“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” Abou El-Enein said.

We ask God Almighty to grant our deceased his mercy and rest in peace, and to inspire his family, his family, and his loved ones with patience and solace, and we belong to God, and to Him, we shall return.
