Under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, and through an Egyptian-Chinese partnership supported by the Abou El-Enein Foundation, the "New Hope" poultry farming initiative in Menofia villages has achieved significant success following the successful sale of its second-phase production yesterday.
This achievement stands as an extension of the strong relations and long-standing friendship between MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Chinese Ambassador to Cairo. This relationship is clearly reflected in the joint support for developmental initiatives that serve Egyptian citizens and embody the depth of Egyptian-Chinese ties.
The initiative provided 100 chicks to 100 families across two villages over two phases. It operates within a broad developmental partnership, reflecting the integration of efforts between the Abou El-Enein Foundation for Social and Cultural Activities and the "Haya Karima" (Decent Life) Foundation, under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action.
This was conducted in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in Cairo and the New Hope Company to provide a practical model for development based on production and labor.
The second phase witnessed direct financial returns for the participating families after selling the production, contributing to an improved standard of living and bolstering confidence in the concept of economic empowerment.
Mrs. Somaya Abou El-Enein, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Abu El-Enein Foundation, emphasized that "New Hope" is a comprehensive developmental experience that opens new horizons for productive families.
She stressed that the upcoming phase will see further expansion, building upon the lessons learned from the success achieved in Menofia.
