In a notable statement, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi Gebali, for his articulate address regarding the Israeli allegations about the Rafah crossing.

During his speech in the latest general session of the House, Abou El-Enein emphasized Egypt's definitive stance against Israeli aggression and its rejection of the unfounded Israeli assertions concerning the Rafah border crossing. "Our position is crystal clear to the entire world in addressing the falsehoods disseminated by Israeli officials about the Palestinian issue, particularly at the International Court of Justice in The Hague," remarked Abou El-Enein.

Labelling the Israeli accusations as "overtly false", Abou El-Enein underscored that these claims are universally refuted, including by prominent figures like the UN Secretary-General, who recently visited Rafah, along with various international heads of state, ministers, and Congressional members.

Moreover, Abou El-Enein brought attention to the straightforward declarations by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who strongly opposes the closure of the Rafah crossing. This stance, he affirmed, reflects the enduring principles of the Egyptian people. He also noted Israel's persistent efforts to misrepresent facts.

Concluding his statement, the Parliament Deputy Speaker reinforced the resolute and transparent position of Egypt and the House of Representatives in opposing any resolutions that compromise the integrity and justice of the Palestinian cause.
