Member of the House of Representatives Mohamed Abou El Enein cast his ballot on Sunday in the first stage of the first round of the parliamentary elections at a school in his constituency in Giza governorate.
Giza residents, especially the youth, warmly welcomed Abou El Enein, chanting slogans in support of him. Abou El Enein was keen on taking photos with the people.

Abou El Enein enjoys great popularity in his constituency (Dokki, Giza, and Agouza) due to his previous parliamentary expertise and continuous services.
The two-day voting takes place in the governorates of Giza, Fayyoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, El Wadi El Gedid, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira and Marsa Matrouh from 9 am till 9 pm.
Some 33 million voters are eligible to cast their vote in the first round.
Candidates are competing to fill 568 seats in the House of Representatives elections, while another 28 seats (5%) will be appointed by the president, bringing the chamber seats to a total of 596.
