Abou El-Enein "Best Economic Figure" in 2020, Poll Reveals

Member of Parliament Mohamed Abou El-Enein was chosen on Friday among the best personalities for the year 2020 in "Nesf el-Dunya" magazine 2020 poll.

The business tycoon was chosen as "The Best Economic Figure" in the poll for his contributions in supporting the national economy after achieving remarkable success at the local and international levels.

The magazine's readers picked the representative as the most  inspiring national economic figure for 2020, in a poll that counted thousands of voters.

MP Abou El-Enein was also chosen for his achievements on the social and political levels, after his success in the parliamentary elections for the Giza district for two consecutive terms in one year, crowning him as one of the main contributors to the district in line with the state's efforts to lift burdens off the average citizen.

The magazine wrote that Abou El-Enein is one of the most prominent industrialists in Egypt and the Arab world, adding that his life is a long journey of success and struggle through which he was able to raise the name of Egypt and the Arab world in international forums.

"Abou El-Enein is one of the leading economists and politicians in Egypt and the Arab World, who succeeded in influencing the international public opinion through his presidency of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), and the chairmanship of the Committee on Economic, Financial, Social Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (PA-UfM)," Nesf el-Dunya added.

The magazine added that the MP is a pioneer in industry, politics and an icon in social giving. "Abou El-Enein is a symbol of giving and a model for the national economist, who does not hesitate to support and defend his country at any any international forum," the magazine pointed out.

PAM also selected him to be its Ambassador, as well as its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.
