Abou Al-Enein Partakes in Dar Al-Ifta Celebration to Observe Ramadan Crescent

Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou Al-Enein, and a group of religious leaders, and officials participated in Dar Al-Iftaa celebration on the occasion of reconnaissance of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

This came during a ceremony on Friday at the Grand celebrations hall at Al-Azhar Conference Center in Nasr City, Cairo.

Today, Dar Al-Ifta has observed the crescent of the month of Ramadan by legal and scientific committees spread throughout the republic.

Accordingly, it announced Saturday, the April 2 to be the first day of the of the holy month.

On this honorable occasion, a sincere blessing was extended to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. A greeting of security, stability and prosperity was also extended to all the Muslim and Arab world on this special occasion.

The ceremony was attended by Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, as a representative of the President,  Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, Mohamed Al-Dhawini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif,, and Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, and members The Council of Senior Scholars and members of the Islamic Research Academy, the former and former Mufti of the Republic, as well as Religious leaders, and ambassadors of Arab and Muslim world.
