CAIRO, Dec. 2 (SEE) - Prominent businessman Mohamed Abu El Enein and President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Farag signed on Sunday a protocol in favor of sons of police and army's martyrs.

The protocol stipulates that Abu El Enein would pay the costs of 100 scholarships for sons of police and army's martyrs.

Abu El Enein, who is the honorary president of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly, said: "Our national duty towards the sacrifices of the police and army is to offer all kind of support and assistance for their families."

"We should emulate President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's honoring of the martyrs' families in every occasion," he noted, adding that such scholarships are the least duty that he could offer towards the heroes' sons.

Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit and Alexandria Governor Abdel Aziz Qonswa were present during the signing ceremony.
