Egyptian actress, Abeer Sabry unveiled Wednesday that she joined the cast of film “Leilet El Eid” (eid night), starring veteran actress Yousra.

Sabry told Et bil Arabi that she is preparing to start shooting in the coming days,

She expressed her happiness about starring with her favorite star Yousra. The series marks the second collaboration between the actresses after TV series “Kayanat Ahd”, which premiered last Ramadan.

The film also stars Riham Abdel Ghafour, Naglaa Badr, and Mahmoud Hafez.

“Leilet El Eid” is directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz and written by Ahmed Abdullah, and produced by Ahmed El-Sobky.

The plot centers around 6 female lead actresses, who each have their own story that takes place on the night of eid and the day before it.

It is worth mentioning that Sabry, born on April 26, 1971, in Cairo, studied law at Ain Shams University.

She started her artistic career as a show host until she was picked up by director Ali Abdel Khaliq for a role in “Al Nagun min Alnar” (Those Who Were Saved from The Fire) with Amr Abdel Gelil and Tareq Lotfy in 1994.

Sabry collaborated for the second time with Abdel Khaliq in the film “Atabet El Settat” (Women’s Doorstep) alongside Nabila Ebeid and Farouq Al Fishawy.

She worked afterward in numerous films, before taking a temporary hiatus after wearing the Islamic veil. While wearing the veil she worked as a host on religious shows, but then returned to acting in 2010 to appear in films like “Ahasis” (Feelings), “Nour Einy” (Light of My Eyes), and “Asafir El Nil” (Birds of the Nile).

Sabry is known for her roles in 2014’s TV hit series “Al Sayyeda Al Oula”, in 2012’s hit TV series “Ma Sabek El Asrar”, in 2015’s TV hit series “Alwan Elteif”, in 2017’s TV hit series “Al Tofan”, and in 2018’s TV hit series “El ab el rohy part 2”.
