Zamalek's left back Abdallah Gomaa announced on Tuesday that he recovered from coronavirus, after only two days from his second infection.
Gomaa had announced on Sunday that he infected with the respiratory disease for the second time, which ruled him out Smouha clash in the Egyptian League, which had been held in Borg Al Arab stadium, where the White Knights secured a 2-0 victory.
Ahead of the CAF Champions League final, the White Knights left back tested positive for coronavirus for the first time, before announcing his recovery on December 15.
"Thanks God, I tested negative for coronavirus," the White Knights player wrote on his official Instagram page.
It is worth mentioning that Zamalek are set to clash against Enppi in the 5th round of the Egyptian League on Saturday.
