Abdallah El-Said, the Zamalek first-team midfielder, has requested payment of his overdue financial dues before reopening negotiations to renew his contract. This is especially true since the player had previously agreed to a renewal in three sessions.
The matter was pending the official signing of the contract, before the White Castle management resumed negotiations due to their desire to amend some of the renewal clauses. Most notably, the activation of the second season of the contract requires the consent of both parties, a position the player has reservations about. They also want to reduce the renewal fee to reflect the player's age.
Abdallah El-Said stipulated that he receive his overdue dues, which amount to approximately 7 million Egyptian pounds, before another session could be held to negotiate his contract renewal.
