AASTMT President Receives Saudi Border Guards DG

President of Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport ( AASTMT) Dr. Ismail Abdul Ghafar received on Thursday, Director General (DG) of Saudi Arabian Border Guards Awwad bin Eid Al Balawi at the academy headquarters in Alexandria.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance coordination between both sides in various fields of common interests, including; cooperation between AASTMT and Naif academy of maritime sciences and security studies in consultancy, training and research.

Moreover, Abdul Ghafar reviewed AASTMT's latest developments at both the scientific and construction levels as well as the academy new branches.

On his part, Al Balawi thanked AASTMT president on his warm reception, praising the key role played by the Egyptian academy in the rehabilitation of its students scientifically and practically.

In addition, he expressed his keenness to enhance ties between the Egyptian and Saudi academies.

Then, the Saudi official toured the premises of the academy, the integrated simulators complex and the maritime safety institute.
