A mother bid farewell to the body of her son, who was martyred in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, with ululations. The Palestinian woman appeared in a video published by Palestinian media outlets, ululating and saying, "I am content, praise be to God. Here is my second son, a martyr, a sacrifice for Palestine and Jerusalem. Praise be to God. O God, reward me for my affliction and replace it with something better."
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip stated that the Israeli airstrikes on the Strip on Saturday resulted in the martyrdom of 26 Palestinians and injured more than 30 others, some critically, according to initial reports.
In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that "a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them at this time."
Since dawn on Saturday, Israeli warplanes have continued their intense bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, in addition to fires breaking out in tents of displaced people in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip
