The Saudi Ministry of Interior has confirmed the imposition of a fine of up to 20,000 riyals on anyone holding a visit visa of any type who attempts to enter or remain in Mecca and the Holy Sites, starting from the first day of Dhu al-Qi'dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah.

The Ministry clarified in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that residents and those who overstay their visas will be deported to their countries of origin and banned from entering the Kingdom for 10 years. It emphasized that visit visas of all types and names do not authorize their holders to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

The Ministry urged everyone to adhere to the regulations governing this year's Hajj season (1447 AH) and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims. It warned that violating these regulations will subject offenders to legal penalties and called on the public to report any violations.
