Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide and Advisor to Egypt's Mufti, emphasized in a news statement on Sunday the urgent need to review the current ethical system and create a new global framework that promotes equality, protects human rights, and preserves citizens' dignity, especially given the ongoing daily massacres in Palestinian territories. He highlighted that the 9th International Fatwa Conference, titled "Fatwa and Ethical Foundation in an Accelerating World," scheduled for the end of July, will address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and reveal the contradictions and double standards of the global system.

Dr. Negm pointed out the deep ethical crisis marked by the marginalization of human values, increased hatred, and discrimination, resulting in a loss of trust in international organizations and humanitarian law. He called for a sincere and organized international effort to tackle this ethical crisis, stressing that the future depends on ethical values, not just military power or economic wealth.
