At least nine people were killed and 19 others injured following a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The strikes hit multiple settlements across South Lebanon amid continuing cross-border military escalation, further intensifying tensions in the region.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the latest attacks have pushed the overall death toll since the outbreak of hostilities on March 2 to 2,727, while the number of wounded has risen to 8,438.
The escalation has fueled growing international concern over the worsening humanitarian situation along the Lebanon-Israel border, as air raids and artillery exchanges continue to threaten civilian populations and regional stability.
