Nine people were killed and ten others were injured, when a car collided with a crowd of people who were gathering at the site of an accident on a bridge in Ahmedabad, in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Two of the police members, who arrived at the scene after a two-car collision, were among the dead in the run-over accident that occurred on a bridge on the Sarkej-Gandinagar highway, police said in a statement, according to NDTV.
The police indicated that five people died on the scene, while the other four died of their injuries in hospital, noting that the injured were transferred to several hospitals for treatment.
