Nine Egyptian citizens died in a road accident near Samalut city in Minya province before midnight on Saturday.
The Police and rescue teams were deployed to Samalut high road where a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a cement mixer truck left nine passengers dead Saturday night.
Domestic media reported that a driver, while driving his Peugeot car with eight passengers, including one child, accidentally hit a concrete mixer truck, adding that they were lifted later to a Samalut hospital's mortuary following the deadly crash in Elsarya County.
