Additionally, two airstrikes were reported in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah in southern Gaza.
The Israeli military has declared its control over the northern part of the Gaza Strip, effectively separating it from Gaza City with the use of ground equipment and drone coverage.
According to an Israeli military statement, their operations in northern Gaza are continuing into their eighth day, with reinforcements being sent to the area. Earth barriers have been erected on main streets between Gaza City and the northern parts of the Strip.
Palestinian media outlets also reported extensive demolition operations carried out by the Israeli forces west of Jabalia and around the As-Saftawi area in northern Gaza.
On Saturday, the Israeli military urged Palestinians in northern Gaza, especially from Jabalia Al-Nazlah down to the northern outskirts of Gaza City including As-Saftawi and parts of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, to evacuate immediately southward via Salah al-Din Street towards the humanitarian zone in the southern part of the Strip.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians reside in the targeted area, which includes several shelters. Thousands more have fled there from Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun since the beginning of the Israeli invasion a week ago. For the seventh consecutive day, the Israeli military has launched a ground assault in northern Gaza, primarily focusing on Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia.
Emergency responders reported that at least 19 Palestinians were killed in overnight Israeli military attacks on Gaza, while Israeli forces continue to advance in the Jabalia area where, according to international relief organizations, thousands are trapped.
