This morning, a new poll conducted by the "J Street" organization revealed that Jewish voters in the United States voted overwhelmingly for Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

The figures disclosed that  77%, of those who voted, chose Biden compared to 21% for President Donald Trump.

The US-based non-profit organization stated that the percentage of Jews voting for Biden is far behind the percentage of those who voted for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016, when they gave her 45% of the vote.

According to the poll, the main issues of concern to Jewish voters are the fight against the Coronavirus (54%), climate change (26%), health insurance (25%), the economy (23%), and only 5% of them cited Israel as one of the main concerns for them.

Poll author Jim Geristan said that this time, 2020 elections, the Jewish community was mobilized after four years under a president that many of them hated.

Geristan added: "Jewish voters continue to support the vast majority of democratic candidates, who are participating in pushing for the two-state solution and returning to the policy that was followed during the Obama period, such as the nuclear agreement with Iran."
