Egyptian Airborne continued training with its Russian and Belarusian counterparts the joint training "Protectors of Friendship-4."

The training was attended by more than a thousand of Egyptian, Russian and Belarusian paratroopers.

They carried out joint training missions including airdrops to regain control of several vital targets and clear them of all terrorists.

The preparatory phase started with the completion of the arrival of all troops to the training zone in the Russian city of Ryazan, where the participating forces lined up, military music played the national peace of the participating countries and the Egyptian, Russian and Belarusian flag was raised.

The training also included organizing many conferences, theoretical lectures, and practical activities to achieve homogeneity and integration of forces and to identify the technical and tactical properties of weapons and equipment, command and control mechanisms and training on first aid.

The event also aimed at acquiring field skills and special tactics used by the forces in the implementation of various tasks.

It is noteworthy that the training of "Protectors of Friendship-4" to combat terrorism was carried out for the first time in 2016 in Egypt.

It is being carried out in exchange between the two countries annually.

The training transfers exchanges combat, field expertise and support joint efforts between the two sides.

This comes within the framework of the joint training plan between the Egyptian armed forces and several brotherly and friendly countries.
