A new poll in the United States of America (USA) shows that more than 71 percent of Americans do not want President Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024, due to the economic downturn and efficiency questions.
According to a report published by the British newspaper "The Times", the Democrats led by Biden are on their way to heavy losses in the November midterm elections when the party loses its meager majority in the House and Senate.
The Times added that a Republican-led Congress would make the president's legislative agenda, including That voting reform, almost impossible to implement.
The Harvard "CAPS-Harris" poll found that 71 percent of Americans do not think Biden, 79, should run for a second term. That would make him the first Democratic president to hold a single term since former President Jimmy Carter, who lost the 1980 election to his Republican rival Ronal Regan.
