At least seven people were killed and three others injured in two roadside explosions in northwestern Pakistan, authorities said on Saturday.
According to police, a passenger vehicle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was struck by a remotely detonated improvised explosive device. A second blast occurred as victims were being transported for emergency medical treatment.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though the area near the Afghan border has seen frequent militant activity linked to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif condemned the bombings and vowed to continue efforts to eliminate terrorism and bring those responsible to justice.
The attack comes amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, following a sharp increase in cross-border violence and military confrontations in recent months.
