Six workers were killed after being hit by a freight train in northeastern China's Heilongjiang Province on Tuesday, the China Railway Group said.
2 of the workers died immediately, while the other four died after attempts to rescue them failed, The Chinese news agency "Xinhua" reported.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:55 a.m. while the workers were on the track of a railway line on the outskirts of the city of Jiamusi, according to what company sources announced.
