Six people were killed after a Bolivian Air Force aircraft crashed in a mountainous area of Bolivia on Sunday while carrying out a civil support mission, according to military officials.
According to the Bolivian Air Force, the aircraft was being used to transport and assist cancer patients as part of social welfare and humanitarian programmes operating across the country.
The victims included both military personnel and civilians, the statement said.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
