A devastating house fire in Novi Sad, northern Serbia, early Friday morning resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including four children.
The blaze, which started around 3 a.m., completely consumed the residence.
Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic reported that the victims were deceased by the time emergency services arrived.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a charging electric scooter may have sparked the fire.
The victims, including children aged between 2 and 7, are believed to be family members residing at the address.
Authorities are working to confirm their identities. Photos from the scene reveal significant damage, including a charred baby stroller and washing machine.
