The 5th edition of Sharm El Sheikh International Theatre Festival for Youth (SITFY), kicked off Monday evening, amid strict coronavirus prevention measures.
The festival is held under the auspices of Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem, South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda, and the director of the International Theater Authority Institution Mohamed Saif Al Afkham.
The opening ceremony was presented by actress Leqaa Sweidan and witnessed the honoring of Hanan Motawie, Bayoumi Fouad, Kassem Istanbouli, and Islam Imam.
The 5th edition of SITFY, held under the name of late iconic actress Sanaa Gamil, will conclude on November 20.
