Libya: 17 Prisoners from Western Region Released

On Saturday, 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) witnessed a process of releasing 17 prisoners from the Western Region, Libya, according to the Africa Gate News website.

The recently-released prisoners are from the Western region, and they were detained in the Eastern region. Therefore, the members of the commission supervised the process of their release to Misrata's leaders.

During the event, the concerned members of the commission said that this step paved the way to the comprehensive national reconciliation after concluding the process of releasing prisoners.
