Reports indicate that five Israeli soldiers were killed, and 11 others were injured in an anti-tank missile attack targeting a military unit in northern Gaza. The incident marks an escalation in the ongoing conflict in the region.
Israeli Response in Gaza
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli military retaliated by demolishing residential buildings in the Nazla area of Jabalia, located in northern Gaza. The attack coincided with three consecutive airstrikes on Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, resulting in the injury of a child.
Incidents in the West Bank
In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit in the West Bank. Soldiers stormed several homes, detained Palestinians, and subjected them to harassment near the town's entrance.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones on the main Qalqilya-Nablus road near the village of Al-Funduq. The attack shattered the windows of multiple vehicles, causing property damage and terrorizing motorists.
