Celebrating the golden jubilee of establishing the dance troupe Zankezour, the Armenian Folk Dance Ensemble performed an unforgettable show in Cairo.

The performance was celebrated under the auspices of Bishop Ashot Mnatsaganyan, Primate of Diocese of the Armenian Orthodox Church of Egypt, and led by Elena Martirosyan.
Elena Martirosyan's Professional Career
Giving a brief about Martirosyan's career, she was born 1979 in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, where she started dancing at the age of five, at the Hovsep Shamamian children's troupe.
In 1992, she was accepted at the Armenian Dance College's folk dance pision. After her graduation in 1996, she joined the Armenian State Dance Ensemble as a professional dancer.

Legendary Martirosyan presented with the ensemble fantastic shows in various countries for seven years. Simultaneously, she worked with Amaras dance studio.
Elena Martirosyan's Path in Egypt
Along with her mother Asdghig Martirosyan, she led the Zankezour's show in Egypt, in 1998/1999 and 2000/2001. By her own, Martirosyan led the band's show in 2005 and 2006, and alongside with Suzan Karkour in 2009.

In addition to this year's spectacle, she amused the spectators with the 2017's concert.
Zankezour's 2019 Concert
Back to the band's giant appearance on stage in Cairo, the show included Armenian folk dances.

In addition, as Martirosyan has been always keen on renovation, the performance comprised dances from other countries such as Ukraine, Georgia, India, and Spain.
