A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hits central Turkey early on Wednesday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to a statement issued by the authority, the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 9 km northeast of the city of Osmaniye, which is inhabited by 202,000 people.
The statement added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km.
There is no information yet about injuries or material damage caused by the earthquake.
