40 Ukrainian Military Facilities Hit by Russian Forces in Past Day

40 Ukrainian military facilities were destroyed during the past hours, the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Major-General Igor Konashenkov announced on Saturday.

"About 40 Ukrainian military facilities were destroyed and up to two companies of Ukrainian nationalists were liquidated during the past hours," Konashenkov said in a statement.

Earlier, the ministry added that 140 warplanes, 107 helicopters, 523 drones, 258 anti-aircraft missile systems, and 2458 tanks have been destroyed, since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

In the same context, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the Russian army had seized a huge arsenal weighing thousands of tons of ammunition and weapons left by the Ukrainian forces before their withdrawal from the Kharkiv region.
