Concerns regarding new coronavirus strains have prompted the British government to add four more countries to its travel ban list: Bangladesh, Kenya, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
The new regulations, according to the Department for Transport, will take effect in England on April 9.
Foreign tourists who have left or travelled through the countries in the previous 10 days will be denied entry into England under the terms of the travel bans.
British and Irish nationals, and those who have residence rights in the UK, can enter but must quarantine in a government-approved hotel for 10 days, at their own expense.
