A tragic shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, late Saturday night left four people dead and several others injured, according to local police.
The shooting occurred in a residential area, and authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department confirmed that two men and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene, while another victim later died in the hospital.
According to Officer Fitzgerald, multiple other individuals sustained injuries during the attack, with at least eight people transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
He also mentioned that the lives of at least four of the injured are at risk.
Investigators are working to determine whether the shooting was carried out by individuals on foot or from a passing vehicle.
