At least four were killed and 13 others injured in a Ukrainian rocket attack on a marketplace in Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) reported on Monday.
"The tally of casualties in a Ukrainian shelling attack on Donetsk’s Budyonnovsky district has risen to seven, with three people killed and another four wounded," the DPR territorial defence said in a post on Telegram.
Earlier reports noted that two people, a girl and a child, had been killed in the attack.

Meanwhile, Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin said the attack left 13 people injured.
"The rocket attack on the Budyonnovsky district left 13 people wounded," the mayor wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that several homes were damaged in two streets.

TASS news agency reported that Ukrainian forces shelled a Donetsk district with Grad rockets, Donetsk.
The DPR's mission to the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center revealed that the attacks took place at 14:25 Moscow time, noting that seven 122 mm shells were fired on the Kuibyshevsky district.
Earlier this month, five Ukrainian civilians were killed and 20 wounded in the shelling of Donetsk. “During June 4, 2022, the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination received the information about five killed and 20 wounded civilians as a result of shelling,” the mission’s Telegram channel reported.
The mission claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out the shelling, noting that three civilians were killed in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and two others in the Yasinovatsky district.
