At least four people were injured during a mass shooting at a high school reunion event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, according to reports from the New York Post.

Local authorities are actively searching for the suspect involved in the incident.

The shooting occurred on Saturday afternoon during a school reunion gathering. Witnesses reported that the gunfire broke out suddenly, causing panic among attendees, including families with young children and infants. The incident reportedly took place around 3 p.m. local time.

One eyewitness, Jeff Herman, told Chattanooga’s News Channel 3 that the event had started peacefully before the chaos unfolded. He described a terrifying scene where people were forced to flee or take cover as shots rang out.

Emergency responders transported the injured victims to a nearby hospital. Officials have confirmed that none of the injuries are life-threatening.

In the aftermath of the shooting, those attending the reunion said they fled in panic as the area descended into confusion. The Chattanooga Police Department has not yet released any information regarding the motive behind the shooting, and the suspect remains at large.
