In a tragic incident in Houston, Texas, a private helicopter crash on Sunday evening resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including a child, after the aircraft collided with a radio tower.

Texas police reported the accident occurred around 7:54 p.m. local time.

The helicopter crashed into a radio tower in the city's Second Ward, causing a fire that spread across multiple streets.

Thankfully, no one on the ground was harmed, and no nearby buildings were impacted apart from the damaged tower. The blaze, however, extended over two to three streets due to the severity of the crash.

Firefighters and emergency teams quickly responded to the scene, containing the fire and managing the aftermath.

The crash site was located near the intersection of Engelke Street and North Ennis Street, just five minutes from Minute Maid Park, the home stadium of the Houston Astros baseball team.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are currently underway. Houston authorities, along with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), are leading the inquiry to determine the factors that led to this tragic accident.
