Lieutenant General Abdelmonem Eltarras, chairman and CEO of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), said Monday that the Egyptian participation in IDEX exhibition 2021 for the third time in a row reflects the high position of Egypt at the global level.

He added that many major international companies requested to hold joint meetings with the AOI delegation to foster cooperation, exchange of experiences, transfer and localize technology in all defense industries, research and training.

This came within the framework of the AOI’s participation in a high-level Egyptian delegation in the IDEX 2021 exhibition, which is currently being held in Abu Dhabi, in the sisterly UAE, during the period from February 21 to 25.

For 3rd Time, IDEX Witnesses Influential Participation by Egypt

The AOI’s participation in the current IDEX edition is an important opportunity to open a window to the world by displaying Egypt’s technological and technical capabilities used in the defense industries, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in the countries participating in the exhibition of modern technology in the field of armament and defense systems.

The first days of the exhibition witnessed intense activity by the AOI where many discussions were held with a number of major international companies with the aim of deepening local manufacturing and localizing modern technology in a number of defense industries and research.

It was established in 1975 to create the largest technology industry based in the Arab World. The AOI Higher Committee is chaired by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The AOI is one of the largest, strongest, competitive, perse and technology-based industrial platforms in Egypt, Arab world, Africa, and the whole world, working together with its spearheading staff and key strategic partners to realize sustainable and inclusive development.
